Cooking Class: Trio of Summer Pastas

Italians can eat pasta every day because they have mastered hundreds of different ways to prepare it and have hundreds of different varieties of pasta to boot. We will be making linguine with white wine clam sauce, spaghetti puttanesca (tomatoes, olives and anchovies) and bucatini all nero (with zucchini). This class takes advantage of the fantastic produce of the summer season including farm fresh garlic, tomatoes, chili peppers, onions, zucchini and herbs. Chef Park will teach you the importance of cooking the noodles a perfect al dente, how to make the tastiest pasta sauces and why the starchy pasta water is the secret to the best pasta of your life. We may have grown up with jarred pasta sauce but that doesn't mean we need to keep eating it. Home cooked pasta is better, healthier, cheaper and more delicious than anything you can buy at the store. Join us to learn how to make it!
