The eat cetera Story
Chef Clara Park is a Chopped champion, a former contestant on Netflix’s Snack vs. Chef, and a culinary development expert with over two decades of experience in kitchens, classrooms, and R&D labs. She’s trained in Michelin-starred restaurants across San Francisco, Napa, NYC, and Philly, and has developed hundreds of food products for brands like Campbell’s, Pepperidge Farm, Tabasco, and Costco.
Clara’s teaching philosophy is rooted in joy, clarity, and cultural storytelling. Whether she’s demystifying vinaigrette or preparing a five-course tasting menu, her goal is to make food feel exciting and accessible.
Her work has been featured in Philadelphia Magazine, Eater, Edible Philly, The Huffington Post, and Plate.
Career highlights include winning Philly’s Best Burger in 2016, cooking with Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert, and getting kids excited about food science through her work at the Culinary Literacy Center at the Free Library.
Clara holds a Master’s in Biology from Columbia University and completed culinary school through a work-study program at the Institute of Culinary Education. She currently serves on the board of The Food Lab at Drexel University.
And yes, she still gets excited about a perfectly poached egg, a silky sauce, or a late-summer tomato.
